The commitment award for this week goes to Adam Brookfield.  Club members on their way to the Goulburn 2-Day Road Tour spotted Adam on Saturday morning at 6.30am.  It was dark, cold and wet but Adam was on the road to Waterfall with his dad pumping out the km.  Keep up the good work Adam.

Southern Cross was well represented at the Goulburn 2-Day Road Tour  by Hannah Kelly, Conner Peters, Thomas Cornish, Evan Pignatelli and Pete Cridland.  Pete won the GC for the U15 Mens - B grade and Thomas came second in the GC for the U13 Boys.  This was a great effort by the whole team on a cold and wet weekend.  Junior Opens are a great excuse for a weekend away for the family and an excellent opportunity for your kids to race with other juniors from all over the State.  Ask any of our committee members how your kids can become involved.

Congratulations to Laura Triggs for being nominated as the Leader-Tynans April 2010 Junior Sportstar for her performance at the NSW Junior Track Cycling Championships.  Laura won silver for the U17 Women's 5km scratch race and 2km Individual pursuit. She went on to represent NSW at the National Junior Track Championships.
