Training

Club training

Training has resumed for 2010.

SXCC has a variety of regular training activities catering for different levels of skill and fitness. Some activities are social and some are structured in a more formal way.

Set out below is a list of current training sessions, locations, times, an overview of training activity and the skill level required for those participating.

Many of these sessions are open to riders from all clubs and visitors are very welcome to join in. The majority of training rides simply evolve from people with a common affiliation (often a club) choosing to meet at a mutually convenient time and place and adopt a policy of safety in numbers and enjoy the social aspect of bunch riding. Southern Cross Cycle Club does not organise the ride and takes no responsibility for the ride. Juniors attending these rides must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or if U15 or over have the written permission of a parent.
